Almarai Company Participates in Jada Thon Hail as a Golden Sponsor

Almarai Company participated as a golden sponsor in the hackathon “Hail JadaThon” titled: Hail Innovates with Artificial Intelligence. It is an innovation initiative organized by the Social Development Bank through the Jada30 – Hail branch in the city of Hail. The initiative focuses on developing AI‑powered solutions to address challenges across vital regional sectors, including food manufacturing and agriculture, desert environments, tourism, and heritage. It aims to equip entrepreneurs, innovators, students, and technology specialists with the tools to build practical prototype models that advance economic development, innovation, and sustainability.

Jada30 is one of the Social Development Bank’s flagship platforms for empowering entrepreneurs and freelancers across the Kingdom. It stands as a key national enabler of the Kingdom’s ambition to build a diversified, knowledge‑driven economy, offering an integrated ecosystem that brings together modern infrastructure, entrepreneurial services, and development programs that turn ideas into viable projects. The Hail edition featured three dedicated tracks: artificial intelligence in food manufacturing and agriculture, AI for desert environments, and AI in tourism, heritage, and digital experiences.

Almarai Company’s participation reflects its contributions to strengthening the Kingdom’s innovation and entrepreneurship landscape. The company continues to invest in local talent and promote the adoption of emerging technologies to advance high‑quality, sustainable solutions in priority sectors. The significance of Almarai Company’s sponsorship lies in its direct alignment with AI applications in food manufacturing and agriculture, areas such as resource efficiency, supply chain optimization, waste reduction, and food security, which sit at the heart of Almarai Company’s operations. The JadaThon “Hail Innovates with Artificial Intelligence” brought together more than 150 participants across 30 teams, supported by five workshops and 180 mentoring sessions. With its focus on developing practical prototypes and opening pathways for future startup creation, the initiative reflects Almarai Company’s dedication to nurturing the local innovation ecosystem and empowering the next generation of entrepreneurs and innovators, in line with Saudi Vision 2030’s goals for innovation‑led economic growth and talent development.

Almarai Company affirms that its support for this initiative stems from its role as a key enabler of innovation in the food and beverage sector, and from its commitment to building strong partnerships with national entities to advance sustainable technological solutions that deliver long‑term social and economic impact for Saudi society.
