Silver Hill Duck expands its footprint in Saudi Arabia with its recent Jeddah entry

Silver Hill Duck, referred to globally as the “Wagyu of duck” for its unparalleled flavour, tenderness and quality, has recently been made available in Jeddah. Following its successful entry into Riyadh, this expansion marks a key milestone in the brand’s regional growth and underlines its commitment to the Kingdom’s fast-evolving culinary scene.

To celebrate the expansion into Jeddah, a special gathering was held at the widely-acclaimed Shang Palace restaurant at Shangri-La Jeddah, in the presence of distinguished guests as they were treated to delicious dishes prepared with Silver Hill Duck products. Shang Palace, considered as one of the best authentic Chinese restaurants, is among a number of restaurants and food institutions to use Silver Hill Duck gourmet products in its dishes in the Kingdom.

Established in 1962 in Ireland, Silver Hill Duck is a fully integrated producer, overseeing every aspect of production – from breeding to processing. Its exclusive hybrid breed, developed over decades, ensures a consistently rich taste and succulent texture, making it a favourite among Michelin-starred chefs worldwide.

Silver Hill Duck’s growing presence and market share in Saudi Arabia aligns with the Kingdom’s booming foodservice sector – projected to reach USD 61.77 billion by 2032 – driven by urbanisation, increased disposable incomes and a youthful population eager for premium dining experiences. Jeddah, in particular, is emerging as a gastronomic hub, blending traditional flavours with international cuisines and attracting food lovers from across the region.

“We’re proud to support the city’s vision to make a real impact on the regional food map and become a true culinary capital,” said Micheál Briody the Managing Director of Silver Hill Duck. “Bringing one of the world’s most prized ingredients to yet another mega city in the Kingdom reflects our belief in the country’s potential to lead the next chapter of gastronomic excellence in the region.”

Silver Hill Duck is exclusively distributed in the Kingdom by Gulfwest Co., a leading supplier of premium food and beverage products across Saudi Arabia. Gulfwest’s trusted reputation and strong distribution network ensure that Silver Hill Duck reaches top-tier restaurants, luxury hotels and culinary professionals seeking only the best.
