Nordmann Expands Strategic Alliance with AAK
Nordmann, a leading international chemical distributor, will further expand its long-standing partnership with AAK, a global provider of plant-based solutions, starting in January 2026. As part of the expanded cooperation, Nordmann will take over the distribution and marketing of selected plant-based oils and fats for the food industry in Germany, France, the Netherlands, and Austria.

AAK’s vegetable oils and fats stand for the highest quality and versatile functionality. They are used in various applications in the food industry, including baked goods, savoury, chocolate and confectionery, as well as dairy and plant-based food applications. The portfolio includes baking fats, laminating fats, frying oils, margarines, flake fats, hard fats, melanges, and many other products that can be adapted to specific requirements.

“Expanding our partnership with AAK is a significant step for our life sciences business,” explains Dr. Ulla Seidel, Global Sales Director Life Sciences at Nordmann. “Together, we offer our customers high-quality vegetable oils and fats from sustainable sources. Thanks to AAK’s many years of experience in developing tailor-made concepts and its trend awareness, we can meet individual needs – whether it’s a butter substitute, reduced saturated fat content, an improved nutritional profile, optimized texture and functionality, or innovative clean label concepts. I am convinced that we will find the perfect solution for our customers.”

“We are very much looking forward to the expanded collaboration with Nordmann,” says Marc Wieneke, Channel Manager Europe at AAK. “Thanks to our co-development approach and Nordmann’s strong application expertise, we can jointly develop the best possible solutions for customers – from the initial idea to market launch.”
