THE LEELA ELEVATES MORNINGS WITH THE LAUNCH OF ITS GUT-FORWARD AUJASYA VITALITY BREAKFAST MENU

The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts announces the launch of the Aujasya by The Leela Vitality Breakfast Menu, a signature culinary offering that reimagines the first meal of the day as a mindful morning ritual. Curated by Dr. Ankita Jalori, a distinguished wellness expert, and brought to life by The Leela’s passionate chefs, the menu is designed to support gut health, boost energy metabolism, and strengthen immunity – all while celebrating India’s indigenous ingredients through the lens of modern luxury.

Aujasya by The Leela, the brand’s signature wellness programme, is an embodiment of The Leela’s commitment to True Indian Luxury – deeply personalised, regionally resonant, and rooted in a timeless ethos of graceful living. It champions vitality and joy through experiences that speak to the body, mind, and spirit, whether expressed in transformative retreats, cultural immersions, spa rituals, or through the most fundamental of luxuries – food. The launch of the Vitality Breakfast Menu marks a natural evolution of this philosophy, infusing wellness into a daily ritual with intent, precision, and artistry.

The menu blends contemporary nutritional insight with the richness of India’s time-honoured food traditions, focusing on gut-friendly preparations that restore balance and promote holistic well-being. Native grains such as ragi, natural probiotics including delicately fermented dosai and homemade curd, and fresh seasonal produce form the backbone of this offering. Intelligent pairings enhance nutrient absorption, while carefully balanced macro- and micronutrients ensure that nourishment and indulgence are held in harmonious balance.

Guests may begin their morning with a vegan ragi idli – light yet rich in calcium and iron, paired with fresh coconut chutney – or savour a naturally fermented millet dosai with moringa-infused sambhar and herb-laced coconut chutney, both designed to support gut health and digestive vitality. For those seeking a heartier plate, the baked egg with spinach and tomato offers clean protein alongside antioxidant-rich greens, creating a breakfast that satisfies while quietly working to strengthen immunity and sustain energy.

Speaking on the launch, Anupam Dasgupta, Senior Vice President Operations (North India), Head – Wellness, said “At The Leela, we believe that true wellness lies in the thoughtful integration of nourishment, pleasure, and balance. The Vitality Breakfast Menu is our way of transforming a simple morning meal into an intentional, restorative ritual – one that honours India’s culinary heritage while embracing the rigour of modern nutritional science.”

Dr. Ankita Jalori added “The Aujasya Breakfast is thoughtfully curated to nurture digestive health, which we believe is the cornerstone of overall wellness. Every dish is intentional—designed to deliver functional benefits while engaging the senses—because genuine nourishment should always be as joyful as it is healthful.”

The Aujasya by The Leela Vitality Breakfast Menu will be available across all The Leela properties from 10 August 2025. Following the brand’s recent evolution of Aujasya by The Leela into its rejuvenated expression – a vision centred on the pillars of joy and vitality through experiences rooted in India– this launch reflects a deeper, more holistic approach to wellness that is both purposeful and pleasurable. It is a breakfast experience where wellness meets indulgence – where every bite is a step towards a healthier, more joyful you. Choose wellness. Choose joy. Choose Aujasya by The Leela.
