Baktec unveils its new Range of water mixing and measuring appliances

Baktec is proud to introduce its latest range of water mixing and measuring devices, designed to simplify operations for bakers and service managers alike. With a focus on ease of use, enhanced durability, and effortless maintenance, this new CERES and UNIVERS range allows professionals to concentrate on their craftmanship and not have to worry about peripheral issues.

As the baking industry faces increasing challenges in finding skilled staff, both for technical service and production, Baktec has prioritized accessibility and efficiency. The new appliances are engineered to be up and running within minutes, ensuring seamless operation and quick serviceability for all users—regardless of experience level.

Our latest innovations address some of the most common and costly issues faced in the field:

  • Challenging maintenance procedures:  We’ve significantly improved serviceability by designing components that are easier to access, streamlining maintenance and reducing service time.
  • Complex and time-consuming repairs:  With more accessible parts and the elimination of soldering requirements, repairs are faster, safer, and more efficient.
  • Vulnerability to water and difficult cleaning:  Enhanced resistance to water exposure and simplified cleaning help extend the life of our products and reduce the risk of damage.
  • Space constraints in tight installations: Our redesigned appliances, particularly those without thermostats, now feature a more compact design—ideal for confined areas.
  • Limited access for routine servicing:  We’ve focused on improving overall accessibility, We’ve focused on improving overall accessibility, making regular maintenance tasks quicker and easier for technicians and end users alike.

To further enhance user experience, Baktec has developed an intuitive online service portal: Baktec.Assist. This platform offers step-by-step service videos and an easy-to-navigate parts requests system, ensuring that even untrained personnel can handle routine maintenance effortlessly. By reducing the need for technical training and minimizing downtime, bakers can focus on what they do best; baking the very best bread! With this innovative range, Baktec continues its commitment to providing the baking industry with cutting-edge solutions that enhance efficiency, reliability, and performance.

Sabine Walbeehm, Managing Director Baktec B.V.: “In recent years, Baktec has focused on developing a new generation of appliances. Our goal is clear: to take the pressure off everyone—from baker to service manager—so they can concentrate on their craft, not technical hassles. With skilled staff becoming harder to find, both in bakeries and for technical service, we’ve designed this new range to be smarter, more user-friendly, and easier to maintain—meeting the challenges of today and tomorrow.”
