Food Business Gulf & Middle East Showcases Strong Presence at Africa Food Show 2025 in Nairobi

The Africa Food Show (AFS) 2025, one of the continent’s most anticipated events in the agricultural and food industries, officially opened on Wednesday, August 6 in Nairobi and concludes today. The show was inaugurated by Mr. Alex Tunoi, Deputy Director of the Kenya Tourism Board.

Now in its third edition, AFS 2025 has once again brought together key players from across the food value chain — including producers, processors, investors, innovators, and policymakers — united in their mission to advance sustainable food systems and drive agricultural transformation across Africa. Food Business Gulf & Middle East, the region’s leading trade publication for the food and beverage sector, was proud to be one of the major exhibitors at the show.

“We are really excited at the success of the show,” said   M. Matt, Managing Editor of Food Business Gulf & Middle East. “This is our second consecutive year as an official media partner, and we are honoured to be part of an event that is truly shaping the future of Africa’s food industry.”

Held in alignment with Kenya’s Vision 2030 and the African Union’s Agenda 2063, AFS 2025 continues to serve as a vital platform for innovation, trade, and regional collaboration. This year’s edition featured a dynamic mix of exhibitions, product showcases, investment forums, and knowledge-sharing sessions designed to empower local industries and stimulate economic growth across the continent.

The strong presence of Food Business Gulf & Middle East at AFS 2025 reflects the magazine’s ongoing commitment to supporting Africa’s fast-growing food and beverage sector — by connecting stakeholders, sharing success stories, and spotlighting opportunities for sustainable growth and investment.

As the event draws to a close, organizers and participants alike are celebrating its success and looking forward to deeper partnerships across Africa and the Middle East in the years ahead.
