Fruit Attraction 2026, the place to build the future of the industry

From 6 to 8 October, Fruit Attraction will once again turn Madrid into the world’s major meeting point for the fruit and vegetable industry. Organised by IFEMA MADRID and FEPEX the trade fair is preparing its 18th edition and  the application period for participation for all companies in the industry is now open.

Under the slogan Donde la esencia del sector conecta con el mundo (Where the essence of the industry connects with the world), and after last year’s resounding success, Fruit Attraction is returning stronger than ever to continue building the future of the industry.

Fruit Attraction will occupy an area of over 78,000 m2 across 10 halls at IFEMA MADRID – 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12 and 14 – where the products, solutions, new varieties and formats, research, trends and innovations of more than 2,400 participating companies will be presented. The extensive offering will be distributed into four specialised areas: Fresh Produce, Auxiliary Industry, Fresh Food Logistics and Innova&Tech. What’s more, the potato will be this year’s star product. Consequently, the trade fair expects to register a new participation record with the attendance of more than 121,000 professional visitors from 152 countries.

In addition, Fruit Attraction will provide a platform for international promotion and expansion with the ‘International Buyers Programme’ which, with the collaboration of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, ICEX and FEPEX, will be inviting 700 large buyers, retail purchasing managers, importers and wholesalers from more than 50 countries to Madrid. Another highlight is the ‘Guest Importing Countries’ programme, which this year features China and the United Arab Emirates.

Against this backdrop, participating in Fruit Attraction offers industry companies a unique opportunity: to gain visibility and international positioning in a highly specialised environment; to make professional contacts that translate into real business; to have direct access to buyers and distributors from all over the world and get first-hand knowledge of the new trends and innovations that are setting the course of the fruit and vegetable market.
