Stage set for Dubai Organics Expo

The Middle East Organic and Natural Product Expo is back for its 22nd edition, taking place at the Dubai World Trade Centre from November 18, 2024.

The flagship event, spanning three days and featuring a diverse array of exhibitors showcasing the finest organic and natural products from around the globe.

The organic expo will be hosting more than 550 exhibitors, registering a phenomenal 83% rise in the number of exhibitors from the past year’s 300, and is poised to attract higher visitor footfalls compared to 12,000 during the previous show.

The upcoming show is also significant since it will witness the global debut of the Guinness World Record-winning event — the Malaysia International Halal Showcase (MIHAS). The world’s largest Halal showcase, MIHAS, will be held outside Malaysia for the first time in Dubai as part of the Middle East Organic and Natural Product Expo.

The MIHAS@Dubai will be inaugurated by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Rural and Regional Development, Malaysia, Dato Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi in the presence of several dignitaries from the UAE and Malaysia.

“As the largest and longest-running event dedicated to organic and natural products in the Middle East, the organics expo promises to be a hub for innovation, sustainability, and cutting-edge products. Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with industry leaders, discover the latest trends, and participate in insightful discussions that are shaping the future of organic and natural products,” said Shinu Pillai, General Manager of the Middle East Organic and Natural Products Expo.

Apart from MIHAS@Dubai, the expo will be featuring special sections such as Organic Super Kitchen, Organic Beauty Corner, Yoga Extravaganza, a special pavilion for tea and coffee, Fresh Produce Pavilion, Superfoods Pavilions, Startup Accelerator, several new product launches, and the Organic Industry Conference.

“MIHAS@Dubai will help Malaysian producers and distributors leverage Dubai’s status as a gateway to the Middle East, not to forget the high-potential domestic market. MIHAS@Dubai will also help both international and local players seize opportunities much beyond Halal food, including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, finance, modest fashion, personal care and cosmetics, and green technologies,” said P Ravi, Director, Global Links Exhibition Organizers & Conferences, which organizes the expo.

The organics expo will also play host to 21 country pavilions, representing Afghanistan, Greece, India, Iran, Italy, Korea, Lesotho, Malaysia, Mexico, Nepal, Philippines, Poland, Russia, Rwanda, Spain, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Turkiye, Ukraine and the United Kingdom and debutants such as Mexico, Nepal, Ecuador and Lesotho.

The conference will include more than 15 workshops and panel discussions featuring more than 30 speakers and industry experts who will take up key themes such as food and beverages, beauty, health and wellness, and agriculture, sustainable farming and technology.

The Middle East Organic and Natural Product Expo will be open from 10 am to 5 pm.
