Building on the success of its first event, IFEMA MADRID has announced the second edition of PRIVEL, Spain’s premier trade fair dedicated to the private label industry (MDD). The event will return on 4 and 5 November 2026, bringing together manufacturers, distributors, retailers, buying groups, and foreign trade professionals in Halls 12 and 14 of the Recinto Ferial.
Organised in collaboration with Alimarket, PRIVEL 2026 already boasts the participation of nearly 220 companies, with over 4,600 sqm of exhibition space allocated eight months ahead of the event. These figures consolidate the event as a key meeting point for all stakeholders in the private label value chain and reinforce its position as the first professional event specialized in the needs of this growing FMCG segment.
The strong response from the business fabric confirms the increasing relevance of the private label sector, which already accounts for over 50% of the shopping basket in numerous product categories. Furthermore, it reinforces Spain’s role as a global hub for the development, production, innovation, export, and consumption of private labels. In this strategic period of international expansion, PRIVEL addresses a real market demand and establishes Madrid and Spain as a strategic pivot for the global growth of the private label industry, driving industrial agreements, diversification, internationalisation, and the transfer of management and quality models to expanding markets.
New Space Dedicated to PetCare
In this second edition, the fair introduces a new PetCare space, dedicated to the nutrition, care, hygiene, health, and well-being of companion animals, joining the major Food and Non-Food areas.
This division will allow participating companies to maximise business opportunities and adapt their exhibits to the specific logistical, operational, and commercial requirements of each sector.
As of today, among the nearly 220 companies confirmed for PRIVEL 2026 in both the Food and Non-Food segments, notable participants include Acesur, Borges, Conservas Dani, Damm, Elopak, Frinsa del Noroeste, Grupo Boniquet Sparchim, Juver, Laboratorios Vinfer, Mane Ibérica, McBride, Nauterra, Persan, Refresco Iberica, Romar Global Care, The Navigator Company, Vicky Foods, and Zelnova Zeltia. PRIVEL drives global opportunities through its buyers’ programme
For its second edition, the fair renews its commitment to internationalisation with a Buyers’ Programme designed to attract strategic and highly qualified profiles from various markets. The selection process is oriented toward maximising the synergy between supply and demand and fostering high-value business meetings. This initiative focuses on identifying and inviting key decision-makers – including importers, distributors, and specialised channels – with a genuine interest in expanding their catalogues and establishing commercial agreements.
Within this framework, Latin America has been designated a priority market due to its status as an emerging, dynamic region with notable growth potential. In this context, the demand for these types of products translates into concrete opportunities for expansion, alliances, and the opening of new channels for exhibiting companies. Consequently, PRIVEL not only facilitates access to international buyers but also accelerates the generation of effective contacts and helps position the sector within an increasingly global and competitive environment.
On 4 and 5 November 2026, PRIVEL will once again serve as the platform bringing together the manufacturers, decision-makers, and visionaries who define the full creation and positioning cycle of private labels – a driver of competitiveness, innovation, and growth for the consumer goods industry.
In its first edition, PRIVEL 2025 brought together nearly 5,000 professionals from 46 countries, featuring 269 exhibitors – manufacturers of Food (62%) and Non-Food (38%) products – and a programme involving 300 buyers from 27 countries.
