TUTTOFOOD 2025 Officially Opens with Grand Ceremony and Visionary Insights on the Future of Agri-Food
Milan, May 5, 2025 — With a vibrant and ceremonial inauguration, #TUTTOFOOD2025 officially opened its doors today at Fiera Milano, reaffirming its position as one of the world’s foremost platforms for the agri-food industry. The highly anticipated international exhibition will run from May 5 to 8, highlighting the very best in global food innovation, sustainability, and technological advancement.

The event kicked off at 11:00 AM with a prestigious Opening Conference, drawing government officials, industry leaders, and international stakeholders. The session opened with institutional greetings and forward-looking reflections on the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of the agri-food sector.
A major highlight was the keynote session titled “The Taste of AI: Artificial Intelligence for Italian Excellence,” which underscored the transformative role of digital technology and AI in food production, traceability, safety, and consumer engagement—particularly in enhancing the excellence of Italian food products.

The conference welcomed a distinguished panel of speakers, including Francesco Lollobrigida, Minister of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forests; Franco Mosconi, President of Fiere di Parma; Carlo Bonomi, President of Fiera Milano; Michele de Pascale, President of the Emilia-Romagna Region; Alessandro Beduschi, Regional Minister for Agriculture, Lombardy; Valeria Sandei, CEO of Almawave; and Matteo Zoppas, President of the Italian Trade Agency (ICE).

The session was expertly moderated by Alessia Peraldo Eusebias, facilitating a dialogue that blended institutional perspectives with bold, innovative visions for the future.

In his address, Minister Lollobrigida highlighted Italy’s enduring role as a global ambassador of food quality and excellence. He emphasized the importance of merging tradition with innovation to ensure sustainable growth and international competitiveness. Other speakers echoed this sentiment, stressing the need for cross-border cooperation and shared solutions to address the rapidly evolving demands of the global food system.

Spanning eight exhibition halls, TUTTOFOOD 2025 features more than 4,200 exhibitors from over 50 countries, representing a comprehensive range of food and beverage categories—from meat and dairy to plant-based alternatives and functional foods. The four-day event also offers an extensive program of panel discussions, live culinary demonstrations, B2B matchmaking, and cutting-edge technology showcases.

As the fair embarks on its journey, organizers expressed a unified vision: to foster robust networking, facilitate global knowledge exchange, and drive meaningful business opportunities—aiming for continuous growth, prosperity, and innovation across the agri-food industry.
